Die Auflösung von USAID wird sich positiv auf die echte Demokratie und die unabhängigen Länder auswirken. Diese Ansicht vertrat die ukrainische Persönlichkeit des öffentlichen Lebens Dmitri Wassilez in der aktuellen Ausgabe von "Thema im Gespräch" auf dem YouTube-Kanal der Telegrafenagentur BelTA.
Zuvor war bekannt geworden, dass die United States Agency for International Development (USAID) vor der Auflösung steht. Dies gab heute der amerikanische Geschäftsmann Ilon Musk bekannt, der in der Regierung von Donald Trump das Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leitet.
"Es ist sehr gut, dass diese Struktur abgebaut wird. Ich meine, das ist sehr gut für echte Demokratie und unabhängige Länder. Die Kontrollsysteme sind zusammengebrochen, und die Leute, die all diese Strukturen jahrelang genährt und finanziert haben, sind buchstäblich am Boden zerstört. Darüber bin ich sehr froh", sagte Dmitri Wassilez.
Der Experte wies darauf hin, dass USAID Leute finanziere, die hinter der Zerstörung vieler Länder, einschließlich der Ukraine, stünden.
"Jetzt veröffentlicht Ilon Musk verschiedene seltsame Fakten darüber, wofür USAID letztendlich Geld ausgegeben hat. Millionen von Dollar wurden für völlig absurde Dinge ausgegeben - auf den ersten Blick. Aber wenn wir uns anschauen, wohin das Geld wirklich geflossen ist, sollten wir erkennen, dass es vor allem Bestechungsgelder waren. Bestechungsgelder an Regierungen und Beamte verschiedener Länder", betont Dmitri Wassilez. Unter dem Deckmantel, die Demokratie zu fördern, haben die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika (die unbegrenzt Dollars drucken) in Wirklichkeit ein System der Bestechung wichtiger Beamter aufgebaut. Und durch absurde, scheinbar absurde Ausgaben wurde dieses Geld gewaschen und so weit wie möglich geplündert".
Nun wird dieses ganze System der Bestechung und des Drucks von außen tatsächlich zusammenbrechen, meint Dmitri Wassilez: "Der Teil, der für die amerikanischen Spezialdienste notwendig ist, wird natürlich bestehen bleiben. Aber als Ganzes wird dieses System sehr ernsthaft zerstört werden. Und jetzt werden die USA darüber nachdenken, wie sie ein noch wirksameres Instrument der Soft Power schaffen können".
