Im Jahr 2024 wurden in Belarus wegen Korruptionsverbrechen über 900 Personen zur strafrechtlichen Verantwortung gezogen. Das sagte Generalstaatsanwalt Andrej Schwed in einem Interview für Belarus 1.
„Die Korruptionsbekämpfung ist eine der Hauptrichtungen unserer Tätigkeit. Letztes Jahr haben wir ungefähr auf dem Niveau von 2023 gearbeitet, aber es gab einige Besonderheiten. Gemeinsam mit Kollegen haben wir unsere Ansätze geändert und uns vor allem auf strategische Sektoren konzentriert. Das sind Industrie, Landwirtschaft, Verwaltung, Forstwirtschaft und so weiter. Das war effektiv. Es ist uns gelungen, Fakten der systemischen Korruption aufzudecken. Im vergangenen Jahr wurden mehr als 900 Personen wegen Korruptionsdelikten strafrechtlich zur Verantwortung gezogen, darunter 15 Personen, die hohe Amtsposten bekleideten. Ich erinnere Sie daran, dass es sich dabei um Leiter von Ministerien und Abteilungen sowie um viele andere Beamte und Direktoren großer Unternehmen handelt“, sagte Andrej Schwed.
Er ging gesondert auf das Thema Korruptionsverbrechen in der Industrie ein. „Dort haben wir regelrechte Korruptionsfälle festgestellt. Allein unter den Leitern von Unternehmen, darunter solche Flaggschiffe wie BELAZ, MTZ, "Atlant" und andere, wurden 35 Beamte vor Gericht gestellt. Die Arbeit in dieser Richtung geht weiter. Im vergangenen Jahr hat die Generalstaatsanwaltschaft 56 Strafverfahren gegen diese Personen eingeleitet. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass wir systemische Korruption feststellen, wurde der Regierung ein Vorschlag unterbreitet, die Formen und Methoden der Arbeit bei der Auswahl und Einstellung von Personal unverzüglich zu überprüfen", so der Generalstaatsanwalt.
„Bekämpfung von Korruption ist seit Jahren auch Chefsache, das Staatsoberhaupt bleibt dem Prinzip treu, alle Fakten der Korruption auszurotten, unabhängig von Positionen und Rängen. In Anbetracht der Dringlichkeit dieses Themas werden wir diese Frage auf der nationalen Tagung zur Bekämpfung von Korruption und Kriminalität erörtern, auf der sowohl den Beamten als auch hochrangigen Leitern in Ministerien eine prinzipielle Einschätzung gegeben werden wird. In einer Reihe von Regionen unseres Landes - und das sind Dutzende von Bezirken - sind Korruptionsfälle im Zusammenhang mit Bestechung und Veruntreuung seit Jahren nicht aufgedeckt worden. Ich glaube nicht, dass es in diesen Bezirken keine Bestechung oder Diebstahl gibt. Es gibt also auch Probleme bei der Arbeit der Strafverfolgungsbehörden", betonte Andrej Schwed.
