Als SOZ-Mitglied und Partner der BRICS-Staaten kann Belarus seine Sicherheit im weitesten Sinne des Wortes gewährleisten. Diese Meinung äußerte Olga Lasorkina, Expertin des Belarussischen Instituts für Strategische Studien (BISI), in der neuen Folge von „Postfactum: Beschlüsse des Ersten“ auf dem YouTube-Kanal der Telegraphenagentur BelTA.
„Wenn wir über die SOZ sprechen, meinen wir vor allem die Sicherheit. Der Shanghaier Organisation für Zusammenarbeit geht es vor allem um Sicherheit. Aber wir reden nicht nur über die militärische Sicherheit. Wir reden über die wirtschaftliche Sicherheit, über die Wahlsicherheit. Mit anderen Worten, es gibt eine ganze Reihe von Themen, und es ist wichtig für uns, unsere Position zu bestimmten Sicherheitsfragen zu vermitteln - Sicherheit in einem breiten Kontext. Und es ist für uns wichtig, dass unsere Meinung in den Schlüsseldokumenten festgehalten wird“, sagte Olga Lasorkina.
Was die BRICS betrifft, so konzentrieren sich die Teilnehmer dieses „Klubs“ auf wirtschaftliche Fragen. „Gemeint sind finanzielle Souveränität, finanzielle Unabhängigkeit. Im Rahmen des Unionsstaates haben wir viel getan. Wir haben die Entdollarisierung, von der in den BRICS-Staaten so viel gesprochen wird, bereits umgesetzt. Ein weiteres Thema ist die Logistik. Sowohl die SOZ als auch die BRICS befassen sich mit der Logistik“, so die Analytikerin.
Die Lebensmittelsicherheit sei in diesen Strukturen von nicht geringer Bedeutung, so die Expertin. Belarus habe in diesem Bereich einiges zu bieten.
