Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко, общаясь с журналистами после голосования на избирательном участке, объяснил, почему Беларусь должна быть за столом переговоров по Украине, передает БЕЛТА
Глава государства пояснил: "Первое - национальные интересы. Есть хотя бы на этом клочке земли наши интересы, белорусского народа? Есть. Второе. Я исходил из того, что это же Володя Зеленский постоянно пропагандирует гарантии, спокойствие, безопасность в этом регионе. И если ты хочешь этих гарантий и спокойствия, то надо, чтобы были учтены интересы всех, насколько это возможно. И к этому должны быть привлечены все участники этого процесса, кто живет здесь, в том числе и белорусские. Литовцы, латыши, да и поляки, они все туда рвутся, и Зеленский это приветствует, и Запад. Почему? Это наше пространство, без нас не может быть полной безопасности. Поэтому два вопроса - наши интересы и безопасность в регионе".
"Но чтобы я с ума сходил, что вот, мы должны быть за столом переговоров, - у меня этого нет, - добавил Александр Лукашенко. - Ну, без меня будут там решаться вопросы. Ну так там будет Президент России, без него точно не будет переговоров. Вы что думаете, он белорусскую позицию не поддержит, тем более она абсолютно необременительна ни для России, ни для Украины, ни для Запада".
Президент подчеркнул: "Хочу сказать, что нет такого, как некоторые кричат за пределами нашей страны: вот Лукашенко, с него надо брать какие-то обязательства, требовать выпускать политзаключенных из тюрем, потому что он очень хочет быть за столом переговоров".
"Глупость полная. Мы, если хотим, чтобы здесь был мир, спокойствие, должны быть привлечены - на будущее, чтобы было хорошо - к этим переговорам. Вот моя позиция, и ничего личного", - заявил Александр Лукашенко.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
