Imangali Tasmagambetow
Armenien bittet seine OVKS-Partner, den Beschlussentwurf über die Unterstützung des Landes von der Tagesordnung zu streichen, sagte der OVKS-Generalsekretär Imangali Tasmagambetow bei seinem Treffen mit dem Präsidenten von Belarus Alexander Lukaschenko am 20. November.
Imangali Tasmagambetow bedankte sich bei dem belarussischen Staatschef für die Gelegenheit, die aktuelle OVKS-Agenda und problematische Fragen ihrer Tätigkeit am Vorabend der wichtigen Ereignisse zu besprechen. Am 22. November müssen in Minsk die Sitzungen der Räte der Verteidigungs- und Außenminister sowie des Ausschusses der Sekretäre der Sicherheitsräte der OVKS-Länder stattfinden. Für den 23. November ist eine Sitzung des Kollektiven Sicherheitsrates der OVKS geplant.
"Was den Aktionsplans zur Umsetzung der bei der Novembersitzung des Rates für Kollektive Sicherheit im vergangenen Jahr gefassten Beschlüsse und der Prioritätsbereiche von Belarus anbetrifft, so sind 32 von 34 Aktivitäten umgesetzt. Zwei übrige konnten leider nicht erfüllt werden. Dabei handelt es sich erstens um unsere internationalen Kontakte mit europaweiten interntationalen Organisationen wie die OSZE. Der Grund sei ihre Einstellung. Und der zweite Punkt ist die Anweisung des Kollektiven Sicherheitsrates, den Beschluss über die Hilfe für Armenien fertig zu stellen. Die armenische Partei hat, obwohl alle anderen Verbündeten diesen Beschluss unterstützt haben, kein Interesse an diesem Dokument bekundet und darüber hinaus in der letzten Phase unserer Arbeit darum gebeten, es überhaupt von der Tagesordnung zu streichen", so der OVKS-Generalsekretär.
Früheren Berichten zufolge, weigerte sich der armenische Premierminister Nikol Paschinjan im November 2022 auf dem OVKS-Gipfel in Eriwan, den Beschlussentwurf des Kollektiven Sicherheitsrates über gemeinsame Maßnahmen zur Unterstützung Armeniens zu unterzeichnen. Der damalige OVKS-Generalsekretär Stanislaw Sas sagte nach dem Treffen mit der Presse, dass über das Dokument im Allgemeinen Einigung erzielt worden sei, eine Reihe von Maßnahmen zur Unterstützung von Armenien festgelegt seien. Allerdings müsse der Beschlussentwurf in einigen Punkten noch überarbeitet werden. Die Staatsoberhäupter beauftragten, das Dokument fertig zu stellen und ihnen zur Unterzeichnung vorzulegen.
