Притязания Запада на роль международного надзирателя выглядят как отвлечение внимания от своих проблем. Об этом министр иностранных дел Беларуси Владимир Макей заявил сегодня в Женеве во время выступления на 46-й сессии Совета ООН по правам человека, передает корреспондент БЕЛТА.
По словам Владимира Макея, белорусы с гордостью могут заявить о том, что их города - одни из самых безопасных в мире, что всем гражданам в стране обеспечена возможность трудовой занятости, предоставлено право на пенсию, на бесплатное образование и на одну из самых доступных и эффективных в мире систем бесплатной медицины.
"Беларусь смогла сохранить все социальные обязательства государства даже в период острой фазы коронавирусной пандемии, несмотря на скептицизм и критику многих западных стран. В то же время их политика тотальной изоляции, ограничительных мер и откровенного протекционизма в этот период обнажила системные социально-экономические и общественные проблемы и привела к массовому нарушению прав человека в отношении своих граждан", - заметил глава МИД.
Министр обратил внимание, что уличные беспорядки в Бельгии, Германии, Испании, Нидерландах, Польше, Франции, сопровождающиеся бесчинствами протестующих, ответным насилием полиции, не сходят с первых полос СМИ. "Поэтому притязания западных стран на роль международного надзирателя и глобального ментора в вопросах реализации прав человека в других странах выглядят как хорошо продуманная тактика, чтобы отвлечь от своих проблем", - заявил Владимир Макей.
Он отметил, что нарушения Польшей, Литвой, Чехией и многими другими европейскими странами их собственных обязательств в сфере прав человека можно перечислять часами. "Почему эти страны присваивают себе право шельмовать и обвинять другие государства? Почему они регулярно вносят в СПЧ инициативы с предложением рассмотреть проблемы где угодно, но только не у себя? Или "трепетное" отношение в ЕС к правам мигрантов вызывает широкое уважение со стороны ООН? Положение нацменьшинств в Латвии, высылки представителей народности рома во Франции, неонацисты в Эстонии, политически мотивированные преследования журналистов и русскоязычных общественных активистов в Литве и так далее. И никого это здесь в ООН не волнует? Почему Совет ООН по правам человека не рассматривает эти вопросы?" - задался вопросами дипломат.
По его словам, можно предположить, что ресурсы ООН ограничены, чтобы охватить все государства одновременно. Но тогда зачем бездумно вкладывать миллионы в неработающие страновые механизмы? "Ответ прост - у западных доноров всегда найдутся финансы для своих "проектов", как и средства для продавливания в СПЧ ООН тех резолюций, которые им выгодны в политических целях. Этой пагубной практике необходимо положить конец, - подчеркнул министр. - Мы предлагаем вернуть СПЧ и ООН в целом к географическому и политическому балансу, к сути мандата организации, к справедливому и равноправному рассмотрению проблемных ситуаций с правами человека во всем мире".
Именно такой непредвзятый подход белорусская сторона ожидает от Совета по правам человека, который обязан объективно рассматривать проблемы во всех странах без исключения. "Только такое справедливое отношение позволит нам вернуть доверие к работе СПЧ и будет способствовать улучшению ситуации с правами человека во всем мире", - резюмировал Владимир Макей.
