МИД Беларуси в 2020 году удалось реализовать немало важных проектов, несмотря на эпидемию. Это отметил министр иностранных дел Владимир Макей сегодня на открытии выставки в Президентской библиотеке Беларуси "Секреты и достижения дипломатии", приуроченной ко Дню дипломатического работника, передает корреспондент БЕЛТА.
Министр подчеркнул, что прошедший год был непростым для белорусской дипломатии, особенно в связи с эпидемиологической ситуацией.
По его словам, традиционной и важнейшей задачей для дипломатов оставалось обеспечение благоприятных внешних условий для устойчивого развития Беларуси. "Минувший год для нашего министерства, как и для всей страны, был сложным. И не только в профессиональном, но и в человеческом плане. Были и потери, в том числе невосполнимые, - отметил он. - Сплоченность, взаимовыручка, высокие морально-нравственные качества всегда отличали белорусских дипломатов. Отрадно, что мы еще раз это подтвердили. Это наши традиции, и я рад, что эти традиции сохраняются".
Глава МИД констатировал, что за 2020-й год проделана весомая работа. Отдельно он упомянул содействие по организации возвращения на родину белорусских граждан, попавших в сложную ситуацию за рубежом. "Конкретными делами мы доказываем, что главное в нашей работе - это интересы каждого белоруса", - добавил Владимир Макей.
Владимир Макей обратил внимание на долгий и важный путь, который прошла в своем развитии белорусская дипломатия, и огромное наследие, созданное трудом коллег-предшественников. "Уверен, и прошедший год это однозначно показал, что вы - это те, кто в состоянии и дальше достойно нести это знамя", - сказал глава МИД.
"Я искренне еще раз хочу поблагодарить всех сотрудников системы МИД за самоотдачу, верность делу, инициативность и приверженность высоким идеалам подлинного служения своему народу. Достаточно отметить, что даже эпидемия не стала преградой для реализации ряда знаковых, а порой и судьбоносных проектов", - подчеркнул министр.
Он считает, что впереди будет также непростой период, связанный как с ситуацией в мире, которая становится все более напряженной и труднопрогнозируемой, так и с теми экзаменами, которые предстоит пройти внутри страны. "Важнейшим этапом для определения путей ее дальнейшего развития станет Всебелорусское народное собрание", - отметил министр.
В экспозиции выставки, открывшейся сегодня, представлены материалы фонда старопечатных и редких изданий, освещающих истоки дипломатических отношений Беларуси, начиная с периода Великого Княжества Литовского. Более поздний период развития дипломатии Беларуси, начиная с 1727 года, отражен на страницах многотомного труда "Дакументы і матэрыялы па гісторыі Беларусі" (издания 1936, 1940, 1953 годов). Представляют интерес такие раритетные издания, как "Сборник консульских донесений, выпуск III" (1898 год), "Сборник секретных документов из архива бывшего министра иностранных дел" (1917 год), "10 лет советской дипломатии" (1927 год), "Международные отношения в эпоху империализма" (1938 год), "Сборник действующих договоров, соглашений и конвенций, заключенных иностранными государствами, выпуск IX" (1938 год).
Кроме названных изданий на выставке присутствуют автобиографические данные белорусских дипломатов времен СССР, дипломатическая документация Первой и Второй мировых войн. Помимо исторических исследований на стендах выставки представлена литература, всесторонне отражающая современные тенденции внешней политики Беларуси.
