Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко направил поздравление участникам и гостям торжеств Дня белорусской письменности. Об этом сообщили пресс-службе белорусского лидера.
"Сердечно поздравляю вас с юбилейным, двадцать пятым Днем белорусской письменности, который отмечается в этом году на гостеприимной Брестской земле, - отметил глава государства. - Этот праздник - знаковое событие в культурной жизни страны, свидетельство красы и силы белорусского языка, духовных традиций нашего народа. Многие столетия письменное слово передает из поколения в поколение вечные идеалы красоты, добра, справедливости, является животворным источником мудрости и знаний, надежным спутником каждого человека на его жизненном пути".
Президент отметил, что, празднуя День белорусской письменности, мы отдаем дань уважения всем тем, кто создавал нашу культуру, содействовал просвещению и поднял на высокий уровень белорусское художественное слово. Предки оставили нам неоценимое сокровище - родной язык, прекрасными образцами которого являются произведения Франциска Богушевича и Максима Богдановича, Янки Купалы и Якуба Коласа, Владимира Короткевича и Ивана Мележа. Александр Лукашенко выразил уверенность, что, сохраняя их наследие, сегодняшнее поколение белорусов своим плодотворным созидательным трудом будет укреплять суверенитет и независимость Родины.

Сардэчна віншую вас з юбілейным, дваццаць пятым Днём беларускага пісьменства, які адзначаецца сёлета на гасціннай Брэсцкай зямлі.
Гэта свята - знакавая падзея ў культурным жыцці краіны, сведчанне красы і сілы беларускай мовы, духоўных традыцый нашага народа.
Многія стагоддзі пісьмовае слова перадае з пакалення ў пакаленне вечныя ідэалы прыгажосці, дабра і справядлівасці, з'яўляецца жыватворнай крыніцай мудрасці і ведаў, надзейным спадарожнікам кожнага чалавека на яго жыццёвым шляху. Святкуючы Дзень беларускага пісьменства, мы аддаём даніну павагі ўсім тым, хто ствараў нашу культуру, садзейнічаў асвеце і ўзняў на высокі ўзровень беларускае мастацкае слова.
Продкі пакінулі нам неацэнны скарб - родную мову, выдатнымі ўзорамі якой з'яўляюцца творы Францішка Багушэвіча і Максіма Багдановіча, Янкі Купалы і Якуба Коласа, Уладзіміра Караткевіча і Івана Мележа.
Упэўнены, што, зберагаючы іх спадчыну, сённяшняе пакаленне беларусаў сваёй плённай стваральнай працай будзе ўмацоўваць суверэнітэт і незалежнасць Радзімы.
Жадаю вам здароўя, шчасця, згоды, поспехаў і творчага натхнення.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
