Belarus rechnet auf die Kooperationsvertiefung mit den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten in verschiedenen Bereichen. Das unterstrich der belarussische Staatschef Aliaksander Lukaschenka beim Treffen mit dem Premierminister vom Partnerland Scheich Sejfam Ben Said All Nahajan. Wie auch Herr Lukaschenka betonte, im Laufe eines kurzen Zeitabschnitts wurden die Beziehungen zwischen unseren Staaten stärker:
„Wir haben auch gesehen, inwieweit intensiv sich Ihr Land entwickelt. Es handelt sich nicht über das Tempo der belarussischen und emiratischen Entwicklung. Die Frage besteht darin, dass unsere Wirtschaften miteinander nicht konkurrieren. Sie ergänzen einander. Wir sehen ein großes Tätigkeitsfeld für unsere Unternehmen, andererseits sehen wir große aufgebotene Kräfte von Emiraten in Belarus. Deshalb wenn wir uns hier überschneiden, wenn es uns gegenseitig vorteilhaft und interessant ist, müssen wir die Zeit nicht vergeuden. Wir müssen kooperieren, umso mehr haben uns niemals irgendwelche Vorbedingungen aufgestellt. Umso mehr sind wir nicht gestimmt, unsere Zusammenarbeit durch politische Bedingungen zu determinieren.“ Von seiner Seite bestätigte Sejfam Ben Said All Nahajan sein Interessen an die Verstärkung der belarussisch-emiratischen Verbindungen und einer gegenseitig vorteilhaften Kooperationsentwicklung:
„Unser Land ist an die Kooperation mit ihrem Land in allen Bereichen interessiert. Wir wissen, dass belarussische Industrie, Landwirtschaft und andere Richtungen sehr gut entwickelt sind, dass Belarus einer der Lieder in Osteuropa im Wirtschaftswachtumstempo ist. Wir wissen, dass sich Belarus in der nulligen Jahren sehr rasch entwickelte, dass das BIP in ihrem Land auf 8-10 jährlich wuchs. Wir merken uns das. Unser Land ist an die Kooperation mit ihrem Land. Wir stimmen zu, dass man eine allgemeine wirtschaftliche Basis schaffen muss.“
