2018年1月10日在重庆举行了“白俄罗斯欢迎中国”旅游论坛，在该框架下举行了白俄罗斯在中国的旅游年隆重开幕仪式。白俄罗斯共和国旅游部副部长米哈伊尔•波特诺伊在白俄罗斯旅游年在中国开幕之际宣读了白俄罗斯共和国副总理瓦西尔•扎科的信函。白俄罗斯共和国驻华大使基里尔•鲁德指出，在白俄罗斯与中国的双边关系中，人文联系和旅游业占有特殊的地位。他们将人民聚集在一起，增强信心，为国际关系形成广泛的社会基础。预计2018年白俄罗斯旅游年在中国的举办将为促进白俄罗斯旅游业在中国的发展创造积极的信息背景，并将有助于增加相互游客量。明斯克州副州长维克托•希连科也发表了欢迎辞。他指出，白俄罗斯与中国在这二十五年来保持着密切的友好合作关系。明斯克和重庆是友好的城市关系。两地区之间的联系每年都在增强。各方都希望进入一个新的，更加高质量的交往层面 —— 实施共同倡议和项目的阶段。白俄罗斯及中国大型的旅游公司也出席了论坛，举办了白俄罗斯和明斯克地区的旅游潜力推介会以及明斯克地区和重庆旅游合作备忘录的签字仪式。国际比赛和节日的金牌赢家——白俄罗斯国家爱乐乐团“库帕琳卡”的民间艺术团体的参与为此次开幕式画上了浓墨重彩的一笔。在2018年1月10日至11日，计划举办致力于旅游年开幕的盛大音乐会、现代白俄罗斯摄影展，在重庆开设销售白俄罗斯产品的商店。

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
