奥地利总理克里斯蒂安·科恩对记者表示：“我完全相信，我们需要白俄罗斯成为重要的合作伙伴，我们在经济上有密切的联系，我们希望继续有所发展。”他还表示，奥地利对该区域的健康发展很感兴趣，这不仅是关乎稳定，更关乎经济合作。
此外，德国总理默克尔强调，欧盟和东方伙伴国家的关系十分重要。一方面，我们对人民福祉和民主发展感兴趣，另一面，我们在安全领域有很多关联。
