2 – 5 мая 2017 г. при содействии Посольства был организован визит в Арабскую Республику Египет белорусской делегации во главе с Министром природных ресурсов и охраны окружающей среды Республики Беларусь Андреем Ковхуто.В ходе визита Министр природных ресурсов и охраны окружающей среды Беларуси встретился с министрами водных ресурсов и ирригации, нефти и минеральных ресурсов, торговли и промышленности Египта, Государственным министром военной промышленности Египта, руководством Министерства окружающей среды, Агентства по национальным проектам, Генерального агентства по питьевым и сточным водам Арабской Республики Египет.Белорусская делегация посетила Национальный центр исследований водных ресурсов, Центр телеметрии, Центр исследований Нила, Информационный центр Министерства водных ресурсов и ирригации Египта, Египетское метеорологическое агентство. Проведены переговоры по вопросам сотрудничества в области мониторинга водных ресурсов, бурения артезианских скважин, очистки сточных вод, сбора и переработки отходов, совместных геофизических исследований. Особое внимание уделено возможности участия белорусской стороны в проекте «Золотой треугольник» по добыче полезных ископаемых на территории Египта. Достигнуты договоренности о возможности проведения совместных работ в области геологоразведки, проектирования объектов коммунальной инфраструктуры в Египте, о проработке поставок техники и оборудования для добычи полезных ископаемых, метеорологических исследований, контроля за водными ресурсами, коммунальных нужд. Белорусская сторона выразила готовность оказать содействие египетской стороне в повышении квалификации специалистов в области геологоразведки, в совершенствовании нормативно-правовой базы в сфере сбора и переработки отходов, проведении совместных работ по мониторингу трубопроводов с использованием белорусских технологий.Рассмотрена возможность организации визитов в Республику Беларусь египетских специалистов для ознакомления с белорусским опытом и возможностями.По итогам состоявшихся встреч подписан протокол переговоров, в котором определены конкретные направления по развитию двустороннего взаимодействия на ближайшую перспективу.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
