El 10 de abril el viceministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Belarús, Oleg Krávchenko, realizó una visita de trabajo a Letonia con el fin de tomar parte en las consultas políticas belaruso-letonas, dieron a conocer en el servicio de prensa de la Cancillería belarusa.
En el marco de las consultas la delegación letona fue encabezada por el secretario de Estado del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Andrejs Pildegovics. Las partes discutieron un amplio abanico de cuestiones de la cooperación belaruso-letona en el ámbito político, económico-comercial, humanitario y otras esferas, las perspectivas de la ampliación de la base jurídico-contractual, los temas del desarrollo de las relaciones entre Belarús y la Unión Europea, los problemas de la Asociación Oriental, también la interacción en las organizaciones internacionales.
Oleg Krávchenko y Andrejs Pildegovics intercambiaron mensajes de protocolo de los cancilleres de Belarús y Letonia con motivo del 25º aniversario del establecimiento de las relaciones diplomáticas entre dos estados.
El vicecanciller belaruso también visitó la Biblioteca Nacional de Letonia, tomó parte en la inauguración de la exhibición fotográfica sobre la historia de las relacionares diplomáticas entre dos países, la presentación de la exposición fotográfica “La Belarús de hoy” y la entrega de la edición facsímil “El patrimonio bibliográfico de Francisco Skorina” – regalo de la Biblioteca Nacional de Belarús para la Biblioteca Nacional de Letonia.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
