A NATO HQ delegation has visited Belarus

A NATO HQ delegation has visited Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported. The annual conference on Belarus’ participation in the process of planning and force assessment of the NATO program Partnership for Peace was part of the visit. Participants of the conference agreed a new package of Partnership for Peace partnership goals, specified a number of practical aspects of their accomplishment, and sketched out ways to improve the coordination of interaction between the Belarusian Defense Ministry and NATO units within the framework of the Partnership for Peace program.
During the conference the Belarusian side was represented by the Defense Ministry, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and the army representatives in charge of implementing goals of the Partnership for Peace program and providing the relevant reports. Representatives of the State Secretariat of the Security Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Emergencies Ministry also took part in the meeting.
