Пекин, 4 декабря /Синьхуа/ -- Пекин готов отвести в своем пригороде участок земли площадью 200 тысяч квадратных метров под строительство специального полигона для тестирования беспилотных автомобилей. Данный шаг позволит Пекину укрепить свое лидерство в развитии технологий автоматического вождения в Китае.
Огражденный полигон для тестирования беспилотных автомобилей должен быть сдан в эксплуатацию к 2020 году в районе Шуньи, примерно в 30 км к северо-востоку от центра Пекина. Ожидается, что его строительство обойдется в 480 млн юаней /около 69,7 млн долларов США/, пишет газета "Бэйцзин жибао" /Beijing Daily/.
В соответствии с проектом, китайские автопроизводители и интернет-компании также построят в районе Шуньи свои базы по НИОКР для развития автомобилей на новых энергоносителях и "умных" транспортных средств.
Напомним, что многие китайские города, включая Пекин, Шанхай и Чунцин, в этом году выдали лицензии на тестирование автопилотируемых автомобилей на общественных дорогах.
С начала текущего года в китайской столице было отремонтировано и вновь открыто 105 км обычных и скоростных дорог. Они главным образом расположены в окрестностях города, включая зону экономического развития Ичжуан, районах Шуньи и Хайдянь.
