Nanjing (China) hosted the second meeting of the Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation, as well as the eighth session of the Working Group on China-Belarus Industrial park.


 

      On August 16, 2016 Nanjing (China) hosted the second meeting of the Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation, as well as the eighth session of the Working Group on China-Belarus Industrial park.
       The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Belarusian part of the Committee, the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President, Nikolai Snopkov, the Chairman of the Belarusian part of the Commission, the Minister of Economy, Vladimir Zinovsky, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Valentin Rybakov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China, Kirill Rudy, and other representatives of relevant ministries.
The Chinese delegation was led by the Chairman of the Chinese part of the Commission, the Deputy Minister of Commerce, Zhong Shan, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the State Property Management Committee by the State Council of China, Huang Danhua.
        In the course of the session, the participants discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including the collaboration in the spheres of industry, agriculture, investments, science and education. The parties agreed on further steps to develop Belarus-China cooperation in different fields.
At the end of the meetings, the parties signed the Protocols of the Commission and the Working Group, as well as the Agreement on Cooperation between the China-Belarus industrial Park and Suzhou industrial park.
