Belarusian defense minister to participate in CSTO Defense Ministers Council session in Armenia

        A delegation of the Belarusian army led by Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Andrei Ravkov will be in Armenia on a visit till 19 August, according to the Belarusian Defense Ministry website.
        The Belarusian Minister will take part in a regular session of the Defense Ministers Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Andrei Ravkov will outline Belarus’ stance on eleven items on the agenda of the session. Among other things measures to improve the operation of the CSTO Untied Staff and the document approval process will be mentioned. Andrei Ravkov will also talk about the plan for consultations on foreign policy, security, and defense of representatives of the CSTO member states for H2 2016 – H1 2017.
