A record number of companies will take part in Belagro 2016 expo

       A record number of companies will take part in Belagro 2016 expo, Belarus’ First Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Marinich told a press conference.
      “The expo will feature 517 companies from 23 countries. This will be a record number of participants. Among them will be representatives from such countries as Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, the United States, Turkey, France, Estonia, China, and Czechia,” Leonid Marinich said.
      In connection with the Forum of Regions Belagro will showcase the social sector which will happen for the first time. “We will have exhibitions demonstrating the achievements in agriculture and in improving the rural living standards. Belagro will also feature exhibitions by the Construction and Architecture Ministry, the light industry, and also the military and industrial complex. We will show the whole complex of the national economy, all branches of the economy, Leonid Marinich noted.
“In recent years the agricultural industry has boosted export. Today we deliver products worth about $4.4 billion and together with the industrial complex we are the main industry that earns foreign currency for the country,” Leonid Marinich noted.
