The trilateral contact group on Ukraine insists that violations of the Minsk package of agreements must stop immediately, BelTA learned from OSCE special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik as he voiced the relevant statement made by the contact group.
The document reads that the deterioration of the state of affairs in the conflict zone once again leads to human casualties. The fact is a serious hindrance standing in the way of the return of refugees and internally displaced persons, in the way of humanitarian aid and infrastructure restoration efforts.
“The resumption of armed hostilities and consequent possible disruption of the implementation of the Minsk agreements must be avoided,” the statement underlines.
According to Martin Sajdik, the trilateral contact group calls for immediate action to normalize the situation in the conflict zone and for the rigid observance of all the Minsk agreements.
