Authors of 15 Belarusian startups (projects in the initial phase of being implemented) will present them at a meeting with foreign investors in Minsk on 15 November.

The meeting will take place at the so-called Startup Day.
The projects have passed a contest-based selection. Authors of the projects have been preparing for the meeting with investors for 1.5 months: experts have been employed to perform market research and calculate business plans.
The Startup Day will feature a project to create an innovative compact turbine to convert waste energy into electricity. There are plans to install the devices at gas distribution stations and locations of the gas transportation grid of the CIS states.
Another author suggests a project to create a developmental drugstore that would specialize in small-series production of expensive and short-supply medications.
Several information technology projects are featured as well. One of them suggests creating a mobile service to find traveling companions “here and now”. Another one suggests developing a software and hardware solution that can be attached to a smartphone to measure distances.
