Belarus to increase industrial supplies to Cuba

Belarus will increase the supplies of industrial products to Cuba. The relevant agreement was reached during a visit of a delegation of Belarusian companies to Cuba, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus reports. Belarusian companies are taking part in the 30th International Havana Expo FIHAV’2012 in Cuba from 4-10 November. The exhibition has gathered over 1500 companies from 65 countries. Delegations of Belarusian companies have held a number of meetings with local and foreign participants of the exhibition. The talks were also held with Cuban partners to expand bilateral cooperation regarding an increase in supplies to Cuba.
Thus, MMZ and Amkodor signed dealer agreements with the Cuban representation of CES Co. Ltd. which has been the MAZ dealer since 2010. A delegation of Mogilevliftmash is in Cuba on an official visit to meet with the authorities of the Industry Ministry of Cuba and other stakeholders. The sides are discussing the opportunity for Belarus to partake in a project on replacing nearly 3,000 lifts and prospects of setting up an assembling plant to produce lift equipment in Cuba.
