Belarusian architects win seven prizes at international biennale Leonardo 2015

      Belarusian architects got seven out of the total 26 prizes at the international biennale of young architects Leonardo 2015 in Minsk, BelTA quotes director of the international forum Yekaterina Korbut. The contest is held as part of the 11th national architecture festival Minsk 2015. The biennale features 151 projects from 20 countries. The list of participants of the biennale also includes architects from France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, and a number of post-Soviet countries. The international jury was evaluating the works online. Each of the seven members of the jury chose five best projects in each nomination. Apart from the Minsk international biennale of young architects Leonardo 2015, the program of the architecture festival Minsk 2015 features the 17th national contest for the best architectural project of 2014-2015, the ninth national contest for graduation projects of Belarusian architecture students, the fourth national drawing contest for children, the fifth Minsk international forum of young architects, and the exposition Young Architecture of Belarus.
