Eastern Europe’s biggest music forum "Slavianski Bazaar" in Vitebsk has brought together 42 participating countries, a number unprecedented in the previous years. More than 350 journalists from 14 countries will cover the forum.
The International Festival of Arts in Vitebsk is a unique festival on a global scale, Mariana Sleniene, the organizer of international festivals (Lithuania), said at the conference "Festival movement. Traditions and innovations”. “There are no other forums of this kind in the world. There were some attempts in Jurmala, but it was a completely different direction. It did not have the concept of friendship. People just came to sing there, to spend time. Vitebsk gathers friends, likeminded people,” Mariana Sleniene noted.
