Victoria Pavlovich of Belarus won gold at the European Table Tennis championship.

     Victoria Pavlovich of Belarus won gold at the European Table Tennis championship, which took place in Herning, Denmark.
In the final match Victoria Pavlovich defeated Xian Yi Fang from France with the score 4:1.
On the way to the gold medal Victoria defeated Egle Stukite of Lithuania, Elena Troshneva of Russia, Margarita Pesotskaya of Ukraine, Daniela Dodean of Romania and Xue Li of France.
     In men’s doubles competition Vladimir Samsonov of Belarus paired with Dmitriy Ovacharov of Germany won bronze, having lost in the semifinal match to the Austrian duo of Robert Gardos/Daniel Habesohn with the score 2:4. In the final match the Austrianduo defeated the Swedish pair of Kristian Karlsson and Mattias Karlsson – 4:3. 
      In single’s competition Vladimir Samsonov reached the quarterfinals, where he lost to Bastian Steger of Germany with the score 0:4.
Before losing to the German, Vladimir Samsonov defeated Matts Karlsson of Sweden, Zoran Primorac of Croatia and Ruwen Filus of Germany.
