Minsk to host EEC Council meeting

      The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) will gather for a regular meeting in Minsk on 12 October. It will be chaired by member of the EEC from Belarus Sergei Rumas.
The session will discuss the issues related to the implementation of certain provisions of the treaty on free trade zone, the administration of the car recycling fee in Russia on the vehicles imported from Belarus and Kazakhstan. In addition, the members of the council will discuss the harmonization of tax policies on alcohol and tobacco products in the member states of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, and consider a range of other organizational and current issues of the EEC activities.
