The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is the bedrock of building a multipolar world, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich said in an interview of Belarus 1 TV Channel, BelTA has learned.
“The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is the bedrock of building a multipolar world. Nine countries are members of the SCO, three countries are observers, and Belarus will soon join the SCO as its full-fledged member. There are many partner countries that are also ready to work with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and seek to join it. The potential of this organization is great. The scale will be increasing. Those wishing to join the SCO see the effectiveness of its mechanisms,” Aleksandr Volfovich said.
He emphasized that the unipolar world has collapsed. “The United States, unfortunately, is still trying to fight for a unipolar world. Today there are different centers of power, which are aimed primarily at peaceful settlement of issues, partnership and dialogue on various issues on the international agenda,” the state secretary of the Security Council of Belarus said.
“The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is very attractive as an economic model, as it was created primarily to address issues of economic security. As our president says, if the economy works in any country, that country will be sustainable and it will not be afraid of any threats. Therefore, the issues of economic security are very important, and they top the agenda of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” Aleksandr Volfovich said.
In his words, the SCO was created as an organization to ensure security and normal functioning of states in the current complex international situation, so that economic issues could be resolved at a broader level for the benefit of states. “There are also cultural ties here, and the development of cooperation within special services. That is why security guarantees are at the top of the agenda in the SCO. In order for the economy to function normally, it is necessary to ensure security on the territory of the countries. This is also handled by the relevant structures of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. So, first of all, the SCO is an attractive modern economic model and the center of the multilateral world development,” the state secretary of the Security Council of Belarus said.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Хацелася б даведацца, цi плануе радыёстанцыя вяшчанне на FM у Мiнску, бо ў заходнiх рэгiёнах Беларусi радыёстанцыя на FM працуе. У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь.
