Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko wants to pay a visit to Cuba in the near future.

He made the statement at the meeting with Ambassador of Cuba Gerardo Suarez Alvarez whose diplomatic mission in Belarus is coming to an end, BelTA has learned. “I would like you to convey my best greetings to my friend Raul (President of the Council of State and Ministers of Cuba Raul Castro. – BelTA's note). I hope that I will have an opportunity to visit Cuba in the near future. I feel the need to pay tribute to Fidel. I must visit his tomb.” According to the president, the visit should help update the agenda of bilateral relations. “But you should always know that if Belarus can do anything for Cuba, our country is always open for you. We are ready to do it,” the head of state stressed. “We have established rather good relations in the economy. We do not have any problems in the political dimension. We have similar views on the global agenda. There are virtually no contradictions on the issues that are not included in it,” the Belarusian leader noted. The political relations of Belarus and Cuba can be characterized by the similarity of positions on the key international issues. The legal framework of bilateral relations is well developed. The sides have concluded about 30 intergovernmental agreements and interagency contracts and protocols regulating the relations in trade, economy, transport, military and technical cooperation, healthcare, education, certification, consular and legal services, other sectors. The bilateral trade made up $50.4 million in January-August 2017. The list of major exports included freight vehicles, tractors and tractor units, tires, potash fertilizers, towered vehicles and semitrailers, parts and units for cars and tractors.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.

Lieber Dietmar,
das ist wirklich ein Dudelsack :) In Belarus wird es aber Dudá genannt. Eigentlich ist Duda ein belarussisches traditionelles Musikinstrument. Übrigens gibt es viele Arten und Formen von Dudelsack in verschiedenen Kulturen und Ländern von Südamerica bis Indien.
PS: das Lied ist Каляда На Балоце von Тутэйшая Шляхта. ;)

Вельмi падабаюцца перадачы на замежных мовах, якiя даюць магчымасць не толькi даведацца, што адбываецца ў Беларусi i за яе межамi, але ж i ўдасканалiць веды ангельскай, нямецкай, французскай моваў, праслухаўшы перадачы. Хацелася б даведацца, цi плануе радыёстанцыя вяшчанне на FM у Мiнску, бо ў заходнiх рэгiёнах Беларусi радыёстанцыя на FM працуе. У шматнацыянальным Мiнску жыве шмат замежных грамадзян, таксама прыязджаюць турысты, якiя б маглi даведацца пра тое, што аббываецца ў краiне i за яе межамi праз радыё Беларусь. На сёння ў Мiнску няма нiводнай англамоўнай цi iншамоўнай радыёстанцыi. З павагай, ваш слухач Сяргей.
