Belarus-UNWTO cooperation discussed in Madrid

Belarus’ Ambassador to Spain, Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Pavel Pustovoi met with UNWTO Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili in Madrid, reporters learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed cooperation between Belarus and the UNWTO, the country’s visa facilitation steps and also the recent visit of the secretary general to Belarus timed to the 2nd European Games. Zurab Pololikashvili praised the level of the organization of the games and stressed that Belarus and its capital have a well-developed infrastructure for hosting big sport events.

Pavel Pustovoi briefed Zurab Pololikashvili on the forthcoming sport events in Belarus, including the Match Europe v USA scheduled for September 2019.
