Belarus is ready for cooperation with the European Union only on terms of mutual respect, reporters learned from Chairman of the International Affairs Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Valery Voronetsky as he commented on another resolution on Belarus that the European Parliament passed on 19 April.

The MP noted it was advisable to remind certain European Parliament members that as a sovereign and independent state Belarus is a full-value partner of the European Union within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Initiative. “We can continue working together for the sake of creating a stable, prosperous and competitive Greater Europe without dividing lines only on terms of equality and mutual respect,” he stressed.
