Bellegprom becomes associated member of Euratex

Belarusian State Concern for Manufacturing and Marketing of Light Industry Goods Bellegprom became an associated member of Euratex, European Apparel and Textile Confederation uniting major industry organizations of the European Union and also Switzerland and Turkey, Bellegprom’s press service reported. The decision on Bellegprom was taken during the 20th Euratex General Assembly held in Brussels on 9 June.

Euratex was created in 1996. It currently unites about 174,000 companies with a combined turnover of €162 billion employing 1.66 million workers. Euratex represents the interests of the European textile and clothing industry at the level of the EU institutions.
