President: Essential to use Union State mechanisms for advancing cooperation and effective decision-making

It is essential to use all platforms and formats of the Union State for advancing cooperation and effective decision-making, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the session of the Union State Supreme State Council in Minsk, BelTA reports. He pointed out that there were all conditions for the harmonized and smooth work within the framework of the integration.

Earlier, at the one-on-one meeting with his Belarusian counterpart, President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that the Union State of Belarus and Russia was becoming a driver of integration processes in the post-Soviet space. He added he was confident that the meeting would give a good incentive to the continuation of the very positive process that Belarus and Russia need.
