Belarus, Slovenia approve plan of joint action for 2016

       Belarus and Slovenia harmonized the plan of joint action for 2016. The prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Slovenian cooperation were discussed during the talks between Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna and Slovenia Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec and State Secretary of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Darja Kuret, BelTA reports. The meeting took place during the visit of Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna to Slovenia.
     The parties discussed the EU-Belarus dialogue, the interaction within the framework of the Eastern Partnership, the issues regarding the establishment of cooperation between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union, the situation in Central and Eastern Europe.
       Special attention was paid to the revitalization of the Belarusian-Slovenian relations in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas. The parties also discussed the issues of mutual support in the international organizations of the UN system.
