French Embassy in Belarus announces a series of climate change events

      The Embassy of France in Minsk organizes a series of events on climate change, environment and sustainable development, we learnt from the French diplomatic mission in Belarus.
In June the Embassy will host a photography competition My Photo in Support of the Nature. The awards ceremony will be held as part of France’s National Day celebrations on 14 July.
       The program of the French Multimedia Library in Minsk will comprise a meeting of the Francophone discussion club to discuss sustainable development on 28 May and the screening of an animated film about environment on 17 June.
        On 24-26 June the Belarusian State University will play host to the Summer University that will highlight international environmental law. A number of events, including bio-gastronomy, a competition of drawings My Environmental Poster and a quiz, will take place in September. A conference on climate issues will be held in October with the participation of professors of the University of Bordeaux and the University of Geneva.
In December 2015 Minsk will play host to the Environmental Movie Week during the COP21 conference in Paris.
