Foreign ministry officials of Belarus, Russia discuss media activities

      Modern forms of cooperation with mass media were discussed by representatives of foreign ministries of Belarus and Russia at the ministerial consultations , Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Mr Andrei Savinykh said at a briefing.
       Andrei Savinykh led the Belarusian delegation; the Russian delegation was led by Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Mr Alexander Lukashevich. They discussed media coverage of foreign policy and cooperation with mass media. The participants of the meeting communicated their experience in using modern forms of work with mass media. A special focus was placed on operational teamwork, including coordinated response to topical issues of the international agenda.
      They shared views about various aspects of media activities within the framework of international organizations, as well as forms and methods of building up a positive image of a country abroad. They are also expected to visit the office of the Broadcasting Organization of the Union State.
