Rapporteurs of UN Human Rights Council indeed invited to visit Minsk

      Belarus has confirmed the specific invitations for rapporteurs of the United Nations Human Rights Council to visit Minsk, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
    “The Belarusian side confirms the specific invitations for a number of special rapporteurs of the UN Human Rights Council. An additional invitation has been sent to the special rapporteur on freedom of religion,” noted Dmitry Mironchik. In his words, at present they are in the Office of the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights.
“We are ready to welcome them at any convenient time,” said Dmitry Mironchik.
