Lukashenko extends condolences over Malaysian plane crash in Ukraine


         President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent condolences to the head of state of Malaysia, the King of the Netherlands and the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia over the victims of the Malaysia Airlines plane crash, the presidential press service reports. “On behalf of the Belarusian people I extend sincere condolences in connection with the terrible crash of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 in the Ukrainian airspace,” the message of condolence reads.
        Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 crashed in Donetsk Oblast on 17 July. The aircraft flew from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. There were 280 passengers, three infants and 15 crew members on board. All crew members were the citizens of Malaysia. Among the passengers aboard the crashed jet there were 154 nationals of the Netherlands, 27 Australians, 23 citizens of Malaysia, 11 Indonesian nationals, six British nationals, four citizens of Germany and four citizens of Belgium, three persons from the Philippines and one Canadian.
