Belarus is ready to implement turnkey projects to build milk-processing enterprises, dairy farms, poultry farms, vegetable and fruit storage facilities in the Republic of Udmurtia, Russian Federation, BelTA reports. The news was released by the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia after Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko met with Head of the Republic of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov on the sidelines of the 22nd Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The ambassador said that Udmurtia is a promising partner for Belarus among the regions of Russia. The Belarusian side is interested in further advancing and invigorating all kinds of contacts with this region. In turn, Alexander Brechalov noted that Udmurtia is interested in studying and using the Belarusian experience of agribusiness development, food production, and milk processing. The republic’s capital — Izhevsk — and the rest of the region are still interested in Belarusian passenger vehicles.
