The closing ceremony of the forum took place at the Palace of the Republic on 9 November.
The Best Art Direction prize went to Vasily Sigarev (Living, Russia), the Best Camerawork Named After U.A.Marukhin prize – to Aadel Nodeh Farahani (Juris Poskus’ Kolka Cool, Latvia). Mikhail Segal’s Tales (Russia) got a special prize of the jury for the best discovery in the comedy genre.
In the main competition among documentaries, the Best Documentary Grand Prix went to Srdjan Sarenac’s Village Without Women (Serbia). The jury’s special prize was given to Yulia Panasenko’s OUTRO (Russia). Piotr Bernas’ Paparazzi (Poland) was named the Best Short-Length Documentary. Stefan Valdobrev’s My Mate Manchester United (Bulgaria) was praised as the Best Documentary Film Portrait. The Best Film about Love prize went to Noosfera (Arch Khetagouri, Ileana Stanculescu, Romania), the Best Documentary Ethics – to Marius Iacob’s 24 buckets, 7 mice, 18 years (Romania).
