Next year Belarus plans to give a boost to green tourism, Sports and Tourism Minister Oleg Kachan told media as he attended the Tourbusiness 2012 exhibition.
According to the minister, the country plans to implement a number of promising projects in the area. It will help foreign guests and Belarusians open new natural sights, tours and excursions.
Oleg Kachan also stressed that this year tourists will be much interested in the Nesvizh Castle and the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble. Over 300,000 tourists have visited these sights this year.
As for the exhibition, the minister noted that partaking in it are more than 90 companies from eight countries. Belarus pays great attention to tourism development. “We keep key figures in the export of tourist services and the number of foreign visitors,” Oleg Kachan added.
