OSCE is still guided by politicized assessments, Belarus Foreign Ministry says

The OSCE Election Observation Mission, same as in the previous years, could not completely divert from politicized assessments and conclusions that have no direct relation to the electoral process, runs a commentary of Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Savinykh on the preliminary results of international monitoring of the elections to the Belarusian parliament.
The Belarusian side studied the preliminary findings and assessments of the CIS and OSCE that were made public on 24 September.
“We welcome balanced and objective assessment of the CIS observation mission which conducted substantial work on monitoring the electoral process in Belarus. We regret that the OSCE mission, same as in the previous years, could not completely divert from politicized assessments and conclusions that do not have direct relation to the electoral process,” Andrei Savinykh said.
“At the same time we take note of the readiness stated by the management of the mission for interaction with Belarus, which would be in our common interests. We underline that dialog and cooperation, not pressure and sanctions, allow us to move forward in the areas that correspond to the interests of both Belarus and its partners,” says the commentary of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.
