Lukashenko sends warm wishes to Trump, assures him of reliable friends in Belarus

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko conveyed warm wishes to U.S. President Donald Trump during a meeting with Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, in Minsk on 15 May, BelTA has learned. “I want to thank you, Franklin, for the kind message that Mr. Coale [U.S. Special Envoy John Coale] conveyed to me during his visit and our talks. You understand that without the U.S. president it might have been more difficult for us to establish our relations,” the head of state said. “So when you see him, and I know you have a good relationship with the president, please pass on my warmest wishes and tell him that he has reliable friends and supporters in Belarus,” the Belarusian leader said.
