Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Vladimir Ulakhovich visited the city of Kecskemét, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Budapest told BelTA.
The visit took place at the invitation of the Hungarian side. During the trip, Ambassador Vladimir Ulakhovich met with Tamás Fülöp, Rector of John von Neumann University.
The diplomat outlined the main areas of cooperation with Hungary in education. The university leadership expressed interest in establishing direct contacts with Belarusian higher education institutions.
During the visit, the Belarusian ambassador also met with Kecskemét Mayor Klaudia Szemereyné Pataki and Head of the Bács-Kiskun County Chamber of Commerce and Industry József Gaál. The parties discussed existing mechanisms of cooperation and agreed to continue working together.
