Belarus to open embassy in Holy See

In line with Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 988 of 20 December 2024, Belarus will open an embassy in the Holy See. The document was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.

 

 

The resolution provides for the opening of the embassy by 1 September 2025. The Finance Ministry was instructed to finance the costs of opening and maintaining the embassy within the funds allocated for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the central budget for opening and maintening diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus abroad.

 

 

The resolution came into force on the day of its official publication.
