Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is headed to Pakistan on a working visit, BelTA has learned.
The official visit of the Belarusian head of government to Oman has ended. The second destination in the prime minister's program is Pakistan. The delegation is headed to Islamabad.
Belarusians will soon get a chance to stay in Oman for up to 14 days visa-free. The two countries are working on the relevant agreement. “Today's active negotiations have resulted in Oman’s voluntary commitment to include Belarus to a certain list (they call it ‘list number 1’) that will let Belarusian citizens stay in Oman for up to 14 days without a visa. Why is this important for us? We plan to develop tourism with this country. In addition, this will facilitate visits of Belarusian businessmen to Oman and Omani businessmen to Belarus,” Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich said.
There are also plans to build partnership in the field of industry, primarily in the field of mechanical engineering. The relevant agencies are working on specific options for cooperation. Belarus and Oman are also developing cultural cooperation, including between national museums and opera houses.
