Belarus’ Alexandra Duliba has won an international semi-marathon in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

        The marathon was held on 20 April and was timed to Tajikistan’s City Day. The distance of the race was 21.97 km. Partaking in the competition were the athletes from Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS member states. Representatives of 14 Dushanbe’s sister cities took part in the competition. On the men’s side, Uzbekistan’s Andrei Petrov celebrated the first place in the marathon. Belarus’ Alexandra Duliba won the 28th International Marathon in Los Angeles, the U.S., on 17 March. On her debut the Belarusian finished the 42,195-meter distance in 2:26:08, which is the new Belarusian national record.
