Belarus-Moldova trade reaches $338.5m in 2012

     Belarus’ export to Moldova made $253 million. Belarus exported industrial goods, foodstuffs and other products which are in demand in Moldova. According to the Belarusian Embassy, last year Belarus and Moldova successfully launched new production cooperation projects. 
       Chisinau now assemblies more Belarus tractors, has started to assembly Belkommunmash trolleybuses. At the session of the Belarus-Moldova intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation the sides signed agreements to assembly 70 tractors and 60 trolleybuses in 2013.
Moldova has a well-developed commodity distribution network of Belarusian exporters. There are joint ventures and trading houses of the leading Belarusian brands MTZ, Keramin, Santa Bremor, Milavitsa.
Belarusian and Moldovan businessmen are planning to launch joint projects to upgrade transport infrastructure, renew the Chisinau bus fleet, enhance cooperation in machine-building and food production.
