Belarus lose to Croatia, stay in Fed Cup Europe/Africa Group I

      Belarus national tennis team lost BNP Paribas Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I match against Croatia in Eilat, Israel.
      In Group A third tie Belarus suffered a 0-3 defeat against Croatia, who were Belarus’ direct rivals for a top place in Group 1 and a ticket to World Group.
Croatia progressed to the promotional play-off where they lost 1-2 to Poland on 9 February. The Poles advanced to the World Group II play-offs after their success. Belarus took two Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I victories against Georgia (3-0) and Austria (2-1) in the first two matchdays.
