Belarus, Lithuania officials discuss cultural ties

      Upon the initiative of Belarus a working meeting was held between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Lithuania Vladimir Drazhin and Culture Minister of Lithuania Sarunas Birutis.
      The parties discussed a wide range of matters related to the bilateral cooperation in culture. The officials praised the level of cultural cooperation of the two countries and said that it has a solid ground for further development. 
       The parties emphasized the need to work out a joint approach to preservation and restoration of historical and cultural monuments.
