CIS Permanent Representatives to gather 22 at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk

       A meeting of the Council of CIS Permanent Representatives will be held on January 22 at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk.
       As in 2013 Belarus overtook the CIS presidency, the Council will be chaired by permanent representative of Belarus to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth Vasily Pugachev. At the meeting, he will present to his colleagues Belarusian presidency concept and a plan for its implementation. CIS permanent representatives are to discuss the issue of assistance to the Belarusian side in activities during its presidency.
       The latter will be held under the motto "Integration for human benefit: strengthening of good neighborliness, development of environmental cooperation, promoting access to "green" technologies, expanding the dialogue of cultures." "It will be aimed at improving the image of the CIS in the international arena and in the Commonwealth, increased interaction of CIS government agencies with other countries and regional integration", - in the CIS headquarters in Minsk emphasized.
