The state and prospects of Belarus-Cuba political, trade and economic cooperation were discussed in a meeting between Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei and Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Cuba Marino Murillo Jorge on 15 October.
The Belarusian official noted that taking into account a high level of political mutual understanding the countries need to move forward to more advanced forms of cooperation.
Vladimir Makei and Murillo Jorge confirmed the intention of their countries to strengthen an interstate dialogue, expand cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral formats.
